The American Heart Association (AHA) Oregon & SW Washington chapter hosted their kick-off breakfast to bring awareness around the program to Executives sponsoring the event. During the breakfast, AHA volunteers provided insight into where the donated funding gets applied, how local organizations are playing their part in engaging their respective workforces to participate in CPR Training and Heart health awareness. 

Looking ahead, TransPerfect is now a name Sponsor for the 2026 Heart and Stroke Walk happening in both, Portland (OR) and Vancouver (WA) during Summer 2026. Our charitable donation pledge toward applied cardiac research of $10K in 2026 is a significant measure of TransPerfect’s vision of a Healthy Workforce. We will be gathering our employees to participate in the charity walk at both locations. AHA provides all event attendees with a downloadable mobile application that is used ahead of each Heart Walk to engage with employees and event attendees. The mobile app is used to track activity points. TransPerfect staff will download the application and earn activity points through exercise ahead of the event.
